Calculate Your Stableford Score

The Stableford scoring system is a popular alternative to traditional stroke play in golf. Instead of counting the total number of strokes, players are awarded points based on their score relative to par on each hole. This system rewards aggressive play and means one bad hole won't ruin your entire round.

How Stableford Points are Awarded (Net Score):

  • Double Bogey or worse: 0 points
  • Bogey: 1 point
  • Par: 2 points
  • Birdie: 3 points
  • Eagle: 4 points
  • Albatross: 5 points

How to Use the Calculator:

First, enter your full course handicap. Then, for each of the 18 holes, enter your gross score (the actual number of strokes you took), the par for the hole, and the hole's stroke index (its difficulty ranking from 1 to 18). The calculator will automatically apply your handicap strokes to determine your net score on each hole and then award points accordingly, giving you a total for your round.
